Gary Eby MSW is a retired social worker, addiction therapist, mental health counselor, and active musician who has written three spiritual, self-help books: \”Challenge Your Dark Secret,\” \”Reflections: A Journey to God,\” and \”A New Way: Spiritual Healing of Chronic Conditions.\”

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?

My latest book, is \”A New Way: Spiritul Healing of Chronic Conditions.\”

Do you have any unusual writing habits?

I pray, meditate, and wait for inspiration. When an idea is presented to me, I then writing about it.

What authors, or books have influenced you?

I have read most of the classic, positive thinking books, such as, Norman Vince Peal\’s, \”The Power of Postive Thinking,\” \”The Power of Your Subconscious Mind,\” \”The Science of Mind\” by Earnest Holmes, and many of the works by Dr. Wayne Dyer.

What are you working on now?

Just finished an audio version of \”Challenge Your Dark Secret\” which is narrated by my daughter Tanya Eby.

Do you have any advice for new authors?

Listen to you internal guidance system. Read out loud what your write. Keep polishing it over and over.

Have faith in your creative inspiration.

What’s next for you as a writer?

I keep listening to my inner guidance system for inspiration.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?

The Bible, The Science And Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, and the book I co-authored with my wife, Rev. Susan Eby: \”Reflections: A Journey to God.\”
