Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.

My name is Peter Servidio, and I am a full-time professor for the Maine Department of Corrections and a part-time professor for the University of Maine at Augusta. I am married with three children and have published my writing for about two years. I have published about 30 novels, novellas, and short stories during this time.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?

My most recent book is Dekker De La Mare: Volume One of The Chronicles, which follows the life and times of an Archmage of great renown in the world of Capris. Growing up, I was deeply interested in Swords and Sorcery and Dungeons and Dragons, spending many hours lost in the imaginative worlds my friends and I created. This novel is a nod to those times of my childhood.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?

Unusual writing habits. It may be unusual to write all of my books and stories on my phone while sitting in my living room while my children watch cartoons.

What authors, or books have influenced you?

So many different authors and books have influenced me, but the first ones that come to mind are J.R.R. Tolkien, Stephen King, and R.A. Salvatore.
