Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.

I am a private person who lives in my own world which helps my creativity as a writer. I have written 6 books and two are waiting to be published. What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?

My latest book is A FEW CASUALTIES SO WHAT, Chubby Pone Novel series. My nickname is Chubby and a coworker's last name Pone with out the Ca gave me an idea for a soft science fiction post apocalypse with a gangster crime noir. No zombies required. A clash between Prohibition gangster and Hip-Hop collide in this book series.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?

I write in the early mornings. I guess because my energy and creativity is up and ready to face the day.

What authors, or books have influenced you?

F Paul Wilson, Jim Butcher, Joe R. Lansdale, and Walter Mosley. Books/Repairman Jack, The Dresden files, Hap and Leonard, and Easy Rawlins.

What are you working on now?

A story about a killer with a sex change tormenting a family. I got the idea from watching the late night news about a man murdering his gay lover. He got a sex change and was caught after causing an automobile accident. His fingerprints matched those on the murder weapon.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?

Author central and Facebook, twitter.

Which Websites you like most to promote your book

I have no preference.

Do you have any advice for new authors?

Be strong and believe in what you are writing and not afraid to self publish, but don't spend a lot money and research your publisher.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?

I never got any, but I know you never give up and I rather try and fail then fail to try. I came up with that on my own.

What are you reading now?

A Dresden File novel. By Jim Butcher

What’s next for you as a writer?

Just keep writing and hope for a traditional publisher

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?

Easy Rawlins, Repairman Jack, Dresden files, and Hap and Leonard
